After many wonderful years on the water, the time has come for me to hang up my paddle. Starting Thames Kayaking was one of the best decisions I ever made — it began with a three-day trip down the Thames and a simple question people kept asking me: "are we allowed to kayak here, and where can we go?"
Answering that question, and seeing so many of you fall in love with this stretch of river the way I did, has been an absolute joy. Thank you — every one of you who booked a kayak, asked about the wildlife, or just wanted a peaceful morning on the water.
I'm delighted to be leaving things in good hands. GoKayak carries on everything Thames Kayaking stood for — the same safety-first welcome, the same love of the river — with kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles now available across four locations on the Thames.
